PFC Church

A said service (no hymns) which alternates weekly between modern language and Book of Common Prayer.

An informal “café style” service. Every Sunday (except the first Sunday of the month). Held in the Church Centre, this is a short, informal, interactive, and intergenerational service. Grab coffee/juice and breakfast from 9.15. Little ones, their exuberance and noise are welcome. Baby change/toilet right next to the hall!
On the first Sunday of the month, there is a family friendly short communion service in the church.
Don’t worry, the church centre is next door to the church (about 150 metres away) so just turn up and ask one of our friendly volunteers where to go! They will also be happy to show you the family friendly facilities like baby changing, potties, etc.

A traditional Anglican Holy Communion service, using traditional music, a sermon and prayers. All are welcome and please join us for tea and coffee afterwards.

Evensong is a sung service of evening prayer using the Book of Common Prayer.

Prayer Space is a time for your own private prayer at St James, come for as long or as little as you like. The church will be open for you. 

From 10am to 12pm Monday to Friday each week, an open time for private prayer. 

Relaxed, contemporary all age service with pizza served before the service at 4.30pm! Combining worship music, laughter, reflection and challenge.

There are activities to engage younger children.

Normally the 2nd Saturday of the month but please check the schedule.

 

A short family orientated service designed for all the family to have fun.

Normally on the first Sunday of each month, a short, informal, interactive, and intergenerational Family Communion Service. Little ones, their exuberance and noise are welcome. Baby change/toilet available in the Church Centre next door! You are welcome to have a blessing or take communion (bread & wine), or just stay seated and do some colouring.

Open to all. An informal prayer meeting where members of the parish join together to pray for mission and outreach in the parish and for all those who are in need of our prayers. Normally the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month, please check the schedule.
